"When the microburst hit Charlottesville a few years ago, a tree fell on our house and every scheister with a chainsaw and pickup truck came out to cut our tree down for $10000. or more. The first company we went with came out with 4 cranes and wasn't able to bring the tree down because of the awkward positioning of our property. Metcalf's crew came out, eyed the process, and gave us a very fair quote. They did all their work like true loggers/treemen. They were up in the trees with repelling gear and did a thorough and professional job taking apart our tree piece by piece, relieving the stress on our house's main beam. The cleaned up all the leaves and debris as well. Very nice people to work with. Honest and professional!"

"We hired Metcalf Tree Service to drop 5 large trees that were located between our garage and shed. They were professional, careful, and hard working. My 8 year old was fascinated seeing them climb and cut the trees and they were the sweetest with him when he tried telling them how they should do it haha!
